Absolutely love these two. LOVE. They are completely adorable and so very much in love. I shot this wedding with Jenni O’Connor from Lion’s Roar Media. She’s a fellow photographer/vidoegrapher and a very good friend of mine. She’s been hesitant about shooting weddings and I told her she HAS to. Her work is fantastic and I wanted her to see that she CAN do this! So she came along as a second and she ROCKED it! Seriously love her images. The first two here are hers, and the other two are mine. I’ll post more pictures and more of the story when I’m finished editing the 8 bizmillion pictures we took!

Normally, I would only post one or two sneak peeks from a wedding. However, because I (#1) couldn’t pick just one or two, (#2) am not good at keeping things secret, and (#3) love Ashley’s (nagging) aunt so much, I thought I’d post 6. I know, I’m so generous. I’ve been waiting for this wedding for over a year! Jennifer is my husband’s cousin and the entire family has been anticipating this day! Everything about this wedding was gorgeous. The dress, the colors, the details, and of course, the couple! I had a great time shooting this wedding and I was so glad to be a part of their day. My daughter, Ava had a blast dancing with every random person she could! The best part was when my husband was taking her upstairs to our room. She she couldn’t keep her eyes open any longer and she was nodding off and she said “Can I go dance?” Thanks so much for letting me be a part of your beautiful day!

Jasmin and Jimmy booked me for their wedding on December 26th of this year. Well, sometimes plans change and Jasmin needed to fly her mom in from Germany now, not in December. So, a few weeks ago, Jasmin called me hoping I was available for May 16. Normally, May is my busiest month. But lucky for them, I had nothing on my calendar because of my maternity leave! Jasmin did a great job putting everything together last minute! Jasmin and Jimmy were so much fun and their wedding was fantastic. Thanks to both of you for choosing me, I’m so glad I was available!

A couple of days after Christmas, I had the pleasure of photographing Kelly and David’s wedding. My sister and assistant photographer, Jessica Bensema came along with me. She was such a big help with me being 7 months pregnant! This is my last wedding until June, so it was nice to be able to finish out the year with such a fun wedding! Kelly and David are so adorable together, and they have such a heart for God- something that touches my heart as well. Kelly’s dress was absolutely gorgeous! The sweetheart neckline and the bow were a great last minute touch. Thanks for a great wedding to end my 2008 with!

Nicole is the sister of the groom of my very first wedding, Brian and Kelly. Kelly is also her best friend and maid of honor. So it was really great to see them! Nicole had a gorgeous dress and John looked fantastic in his kilt. I really love their treble and base tattoos- what a cute idea!

Kristin & Jon are friends with Brenda and Rich, who’s wedding I did back in May. Jon and Rich were each other’s best men. We had a gorgeous sunset for the bridal party pictures! Thanks Jon for suggesting that we take them before the family pictures. I forget how fast that sun goes down in the fall. It made for some really gorgeous pictures!

I really had a hard time only picking a few of the pictures from this wedding. Kristen & Chris (a.k.a Skip) are such an adorable couple! I don’t think the smiles left their faces. Except maybe when Kristen was saying her vows. It was so cold for the bridal party pictures at Lake Katherine, but we pulled it off and no one looks cold! Thanks for a great day!

I love the Bennett Curtis House! I was married here and this is the second wedding I’ve shot here. I went to high school with Julie, and I did her cousin’s wedding earlier this year. So I was pretty excited to do this wedding. The sun was pretty brutal and it was extremely hot that day, so it made things a little difficult post production. But I’m glad everything turned out beautiful. Thanks for choosing me, Julie and congratulations to you and Jared on your little one coming soon!

Stephanie worked with my sister, so when she and Joe were looking for a photographer, my sister recommended me. I love the bridesmaids dresses! And with the red flowers, everything looked so classy. It was nice to be able to visit with my sister at the reception as well. Thanks for recommending me Fran!
